PlugMatrix SEO

Every page ready for search, without slowing it down.

PlugMatrix SEO gives every WordPress page its title, description, social card and structured data, with XML sitemaps, breadcrumbs and a robots.txt that is checked before it goes live. Bring your settings from Yoast, Rank Math, All in One SEO or SEOPress. WordPress serves it all itself, so pages stay fast.

  • Imports from Yoast, Rank Math, AIOSEO and SEOPress
  • Served by WordPress, so pages stay fast
Illustration with sample dataIllustration: a Sparkle Home Cleaning web page with the SEO panel open beside it. The panel shows how the page looks in Google search results, the SEO title at 49 of about 60 characters and the meta description at 148 of about 160, both in the good range, and three checks of the page: one main heading, headings in order, and one image without alt text. A small SEO button sits in the corner of the page.

How it works

From your old SEO plugin to every page covered

Bring what you already have, set good defaults once, and fix the pages that need it, from the dashboard or right on the page.

The screens below are illustrations of the product with sample data.

  1. Step 1: Bring your SEO with you

Import titles, descriptions and settings from Yoast SEO, Rank Math, All in One SEO or SEOPress. A dry run counts what will come over and a backup is taken first. Anything that does not translate, like a variable only your old plugin knows, is marked for review. Until you are ready, both plugins can stay on without printing the same tags twice.

An import from Yoast SEO after its dry run: 214 SEO titles, 198 descriptions, 87 social fields and 14 settings will come over, 3 titles use a variable that needs review, a backup will be taken first, and a Back up and import button.
  2. Step 2: Titles and descriptions for every page

Give posts, pages, products, categories and archives a template with variables like the title, the category and your site name, and watch the search preview as you type. Any page can have its own title and description, set in the block editor, the classic editor, category screens or author profiles.

The title template for blog posts: the post title, the separator and the site name, with variable buttons for Title, Separator, Site name, Category and Excerpt. Below it, the Google preview of one post: Spring Cleaning Checklist: 12 Jobs to Do First | Sparkle Home Cleaning.
  3. Step 3: Fix SEO while you look at the page

Logged-in editors get a small SEO button on the live site. It opens the search preview, the title and description with length meters, the social cards, and quick checks of the page itself: one main heading, heading order, images without alt text. Visitors never load any of it.

The Sparkle Home Cleaning page as a logged-in editor sees it, with the SEO button in the corner and its panel open on the Social tab: the card this page shows when shared on Facebook, and the same for X, each with the page's image, title and description.
  4. Step 4: Sitemaps and robots.txt, done safely

XML sitemaps list your posts, pages, products, categories and authors with their images, and leave out anything set to noindex or protected by a password. robots.txt rules are checked as you type: a rule that would hide your whole site or your sitemaps needs a confirmation. Allow or block 17 AI crawlers one by one.

Left: the sitemap index with four sitemaps: posts with 214 addresses and 386 images, pages with 18 and 41 images, categories with 9 and authors with 3. Right: the robots.txt editor warns that Disallow: / would hide the whole site from search engines and asks for confirmation, and AI crawler switches block GPTBot and Google-Extended and allow ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot.
  5. Step 5: Structured data, checked before it prints

Every page gets one connected JSON-LD graph: your website and business, the page, its article or product, and its breadcrumbs. Rules choose the type by post type, category, tag, author or custom field. A part missing a required property is reported and left out, never printed broken, and other plugins printing the same data are pointed out.

The structured data of one blog post: a single JSON-LD graph with WebSite, Organization, WebPage, Article and BreadcrumbList, each checked and valid. A Product part is left out and reported because it is missing its required offer price.
  6. Step 6: Every page’s SEO in one list

The dashboard lists every page with a missing, duplicate, too long or too short title or description, and every page set to noindex. Edit it right there and WordPress applies the change, or ask AI for three to five suggestions in the style you pick, each with its length. Nothing changes until you choose one.

Illustration with sample dataThe Pages list in the dashboard: 312 pages, 18 missing a description and 6 duplicate titles, with rows flagged Missing description, Duplicate title, Title too long, Noindex and Looks good. Beside it, three AI title suggestions for the deep cleaning page with their lengths, 49, 50 and 45 characters, the first one chosen.

Questions, answered

Straight answers about how PlugMatrix SEO works.

Works with the rest of PlugMatrix: Live Chat, Forms, Reviews and Bookings

Does it replace Yoast, Rank Math or All in One SEO?

Yes. Import your titles, descriptions and settings, check the result with both plugins installed (PlugMatrix SEO does not print the tags your old plugin already prints), then turn the old plugin off when you are ready. The import never changes your old plugin’s data.

Will it improve my rankings?

Nobody can promise rankings, and we do not. PlugMatrix SEO makes sure every page has an accurate title, description, social card, sitemap entry and structured data, and shows you what is missing or duplicated so you can fix it.

Will it slow my website down?

No. WordPress prints the tags from data already stored on your site, nothing is fetched from our servers while a visitor loads a page, and sitemaps are cached until your content changes.

What happens to my titles and descriptions if I stop using it?

They are stored in WordPress, in your own database, and they stay there even if you remove the plugin.

Can I block AI crawlers like GPTBot?

Yes. Allow or block each of 17 known AI crawlers, including GPTBot, ClaudeBot, Google-Extended and PerplexityBot, and PlugMatrix SEO writes the rules into robots.txt for you. Like any robots.txt rule, it only stops crawlers that respect robots.txt.

Does it work with WooCommerce?

Yes. Products get Product structured data (linked to the product data WooCommerce prints itself, never printed twice), hidden products are left out of your sitemaps, and cart, checkout and account pages stay out too.

Do I need WordPress?

Yes. PlugMatrix SEO works through the PlugMatrix WordPress plugin, version 1.10 or later, the same plugin that runs your other PlugMatrix products.

Is Google Search Console included?

Not yet. Search Console, site audits, redirects and a 404 monitor are coming next, and they will be part of your plan when they arrive.
