How it works
Pick a design once. After that, every order gets its documents, every customer can download them, and every period can be exported.

Invoices, packing slips, credit notes, proforma invoices, receipts and delivery notes, each with its own title, file name and number sequence. Packing slips and delivery notes leave the prices out and show the shipping address, weights and the customer’s note. Every WooCommerce refund gets its credit note, with the number of the invoice it corrects.
Pick one of four designs, add your logo, colors and font, and choose what the document shows: addresses, payment and shipping method, notes, gift messages, your own custom fields, your tax ID and bank details. Drag the columns into order, rename the totals, and see every change on a real recent order, right next to the settings.
Choose the order statuses that create each document and the WooCommerce emails that carry it: the invoice when an order is processing, the proforma for a bank transfer on hold, the credit note with the refund. Numbers are given once, without gaps or duplicates, even when orders arrive at the same moment.
Customers download their own invoices and receipts from My Account, on the order list and the order page. Guests get a signed link that expires, in their email. Nobody sees another customer’s documents, and your team works from the order screen and the order list: create, print, regenerate or download in bulk.
Export the documents of any period and order status as one ZIP file or one merged PDF, and the invoice summary as a spreadsheet or a PDF: number, date, customer, net, tax per rate and total. Large exports run in the background, and you are told when the file is ready.
Create the UBL 2.1 file (EN 16931, Peppol BIS Billing 3.0) of each invoice and credit note, and attach it to the same emails. The customizer checks the seller details an e-invoice needs, like your VAT ID and address, and tells you what is missing before anything is sent.

No. PlugMatrix Invoices is made for WordPress + WooCommerce: it creates its documents from WooCommerce orders inside your WordPress site, so it needs both. Our other products work on any website; this one does not.
No. The PDFs are built by the PlugMatrix plugin inside WordPress, and numbers and dates are kept with each order. PlugMatrix only learns how many documents were created each month and your last invoice number, to show them in your dashboard.
Every document already created stays downloadable, for you and for your customers. Without a plan, new documents are no longer created until you turn it on again.
Yes. Set the prefix, suffix and padding you use today, and set the next number to continue your sequence. Numbers can reset every year, and a number never changes once it is given unless you regenerate the document yourself.
Yes. Ask for an optional gift message at checkout (or read it from your gift plugin) and print it on packing slips, delivery notes or any other document. Add up to ten custom fields, such as a PO number or a delivery date, from the order or the customer’s account, each on the documents you choose.
Yes. It uses the WooCommerce order API only, so it works with High-Performance Order Storage and with the classic order tables.
UBL 2.1 invoices and credit notes with the EN 16931 core fields, in the Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 profile, from the Growth plan. It creates the file and attaches it to your emails; sending it through the Peppol network is done by your access point or your accountant.
Amounts use the order’s currency and your WooCommerce price format, right-to-left languages are laid out right to left, and documents use the order’s language where WordPress switches it. Support for WPML, Polylang and TranslatePress is coming next.
It prints what an invoice usually needs, such as sequential numbers, dates, your tax ID, company number and tax per rate, once you fill them in. Rules differ by country, so check with your accountant which details yours needs; we do not give tax advice.
