  1. Step 1: A visitor asks a question

    The chat opens on any page of your website. Visitors ask in their own words, and the conversation keeps the page they were on.

    A visitor on a product page opens the chat and asks whether the store delivers to Toronto and offers assembly.

  2. Step 2: AI answers using your website knowledge

    Answers come from the pages, documents and FAQs you approve, and your team can see which sources each answer used. If the AI is not confident, it says so instead of guessing.

    The AI replies that Toronto orders arrive in 3 to 5 business days and assembly can be added at checkout. Beside the chat, the agent view lists the two website pages the answer came from: shipping and delivery, and the assembly service.

  3. Step 3: AI collects the details you need

    When a visitor needs a quote, a booking or a follow-up, the AI asks for the information you choose, one question at a time.

Does the AI make things up?

It answers from the knowledge you approve: your website pages, documents and FAQs. When it is not confident in an answer, it tells the visitor and offers to connect them with your team instead of guessing.

Can my team take over a conversation?

Yes. Any agent can take over from the AI in one click, and visitors can ask for a person at any time. Once a person joins, the AI stops replying in that conversation.

Does it work on WordPress?

Yes. The PlugMatrix WordPress plugin connects your site to your account and adds the chat to your pages. It can also sync your pages, posts and WooCommerce products so the AI learns from them.

Do I need a developer to install it?

No. On WordPress you install the plugin and connect your account. On any other website you paste one script tag into your HTML.

What about visitor privacy?

You choose how long conversations and visitor data are kept, and whether the chat waits for consent before tracking. PlugMatrix uses a first-party visitor ID and does not fingerprint browsers. You stay in control of your own privacy notice.
